TY LAFOREST PHOTOGRAPHY

Born and raised in North Vancouver, Ty Laforest, began his career apprenticing under celebrated Los Angeles headshot photographer Kevyn Major Howard. Ty learned from Howards unique style, focused on capturing true personality. After four years as an apprentice, Ty embarked on his own business in Howard's studios, continuing to learn from Howard and build his own portfolio.

Ty's interest in photography, like in his life, extends to many different subjects. Having worked as a barista, butcher, building custom homes and on the oil fields of Alberta over the past few years, Ty's versatility has proven to be his strongest attribute. 

Ty's greatest interest remains in head shot photography because of the interaction it brings with people. His ability to make clients feel instantly comfortable allows  for efficient, professional and enjoyable shoots.  Free consultations available.
